Criminal Justice
Diane Byrnes joins the Fowler Law Firm PC having enjoyed a career as both a police officer and beginning in 1997 as a licensed attorney. She began her legal career with the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services in the Children and Family Law Division where she represented children and parents in care and protection/termination of parental rights cases.
In 2000, Ms. Byrnes delved into labor law where she zealously represented Law Enforcement Officers before local authorities and administrative state agencies. She has represented Officers in contract negotiations, Internal Affairs Investigations, pre-termination hearings, mediations, grievances, and arbitrations. She has also served on Critical Incident Teams (shootings, death in custody, etc.) which required immediate response 24/7.
As the many reviews which appear below show, since joining Fowler Law to practice law in Texas, Diane Byrnes’ unique experience enabled her to rapidly become skilled and very effective in representing clients with family law, domestic partnership and child custody legal needs. She is both a fierce advocate and a very caring attorney, a certified mediator with significant advanced training and experience in these areas.

A Day in the Professional Life…
Diane Brynes is both a very proud grandmother and a generous volunteer serving as attorney advisor to participating students, including her granddaughter, in Williamson County YMCA Teen Court. Featured her the front row, to the left is Judge Angela Williams, Williamson County Justice of the Peace No. 2 and to the right is Judge Edna Staudt, Williamson County Justice of the Peace No. 2, beloved founder and still very active contributor to Williamson County YMCA Teen Court.
Trial Lawyers Diane Byrnes and Eugene Clayborn head west to try a particularly contentious matter in a beautiful historic Texas courthouse. All the modern amenities of modern trial practice become even more essential when the trial lawyer is trying a case far from home. We are pleased to report they emerged victorious.
Diane Byrnes actively participates in many community service projects including this one repairing structures at Hill Country Ministries. It only took two lawyers, and two advertising executives three hours to joyfully install a new door. No one was injured.
