An accomplished attorney with a diverse background, Troy D. Bolen graduated from the University of Texas with Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1992 and immediately began an ambitious career for Blue Bell Ice Cream focusing on business operations in Mexico. In order to reclaim his waistline, in 1996, Troy began at South Texas College of Law graduating in 1999.

First licensed as an attorney in Texas in 1999 and immediately thereafter in Colorado, Troy bravely opened and managed a successful general law practice in Colorado. In 2006, Troy received an offer too good to refuse and returned to Austin in 2006 to practice real estate law.

Since 2006, Troy’s remarkable career has included representing a vast array of real estate investors and property managers and third party financing and consumer credit agencies, at one point involving a state wide practice in state, federal and bankruptcy court. He is licensed in all of the United States District Courts of Texas.

Married to the beautiful and exceptionally kind Angela Hancock Bolen, the proud father of two handsome sons, Thomas and Bryce, Troy does have a personal life mostly involved in being a devoted Dad and husband. On occasion however, he can be found secretly eating Barbeque, playing bluegrass music on his guitar or participating with Angela Bolen in somewhat unorthodox fund raising for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

“I first utilized Troy’s legal services in 2011, when he helped me successfully broker an Executive Employment Agreement with my current Employer.  The process involved phone-conference and face-to-face meetings with Senior Executive Management and Corporate Legal Staff.  I found him quite insightful, while also possessing a very affable personality which helped to diffuse a number of tense situations during negotiation.  Indeed, Troy has subsequently helped me on a number of other personal and business legal matters as well – these have also met with successful outcomes.  I would highly recommend Troy to others.”
