GEOFFREY S. CLINE
Geoff Cline comes to The Fowler Law Firm with a wide range of legal experience in intellectual property, entertainment and employment law issues, as well as day-to-day general business law advice and matters. Additionally, he has expertise as an independent consultant in corporate social responsibility and organizational development. A former touring musician, Geoff attended the University of Southern California School of Law, where he was an Editor of the Hale Honors Moot Court program. He was first licensed in California in 1985 After a lengthy stint at a large CA law firm, Mr. Cline became V.P & General Counsel for Lost Arrow Corporation, the parent holding company for Patagonia, Inc. and its related entities around the world. While at Patagonia, Geoff was an active participant in the creation of the Company’s statement of corporate values and mission statement and the related training and education for employees in multiple locations. Mr. Cline left Patagonia to become Associate General Counsel for H.O.B. Entertainment, Inc. (House of Blues), handling digital media, IP and litigation matters and later was a co-founder, General Counsel/Business Affairs of Sovereign Artists, Inc., an independent record label. Geoff lives with his wife, Sallie Trout, in the Hill Country outside of Austin, Texas, with their dogs and parrot, while son Trevor is finishing his studies at U.C. Berkeley and preparing for medical school. Geoff is licensed to practice law in both California and Texas.
