ELIZABETH F. BEYER
For most of her childhood, Elizabeth lived in San Antonio, Texas, until she moved to Austin to pursue studies at the University of Texas at Austin. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from U.T. Austin, she worked in various capacities for several law firms in downtown Austin until formalizing her legal education at St. Mary’s University School of Law. At St. Mary’s, Elizabeth was selected for Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity, and also earned a place on the staff of the St. Mary’s Law Journal, one of the top law reviews in the nation. Elizabeth’s Law Journal comment on Collaborative Law was one of only four in the school chosen for publication. Her success continued as she was then selected to be a member of the managing editorial board Journal. During her last year in law school, she edited and produced for publication a historical legal treatise on the Supreme Court of Texas, and a progressive article on the dominance and necessity of web-based legal research. Shortly after graduating at the top of her class, Elizabeth joined the legal team at The Fowler Law Firm, where she practices general civil litigation handling real estate contract disputes, and family law including divorces, paternity suits and custody modifications. She also represents companies along with Dan Kowalski in obtaining H-2B temporary worker visas in The Fowler Law Firm’s Citizenship and Visa Law Section. Elizabeth enjoys long-distance bicycling and has ridden over 500 miles across the state of Iowa, as well as many miles across Texas in support of fundraising organizations. She is married to Neil Todd Beyer, a fellow member of the State Bar of Texas and solo practitioner.
