Jack W. Cunningham practices primarily in the areas of family law, real estate transactions and litigation, probate, wills and estate planning, business and consumer litigation, commercial transactions, securities arbitration and civil appellate law. An accomplished litigator with an exceptional ability to handle matters involving complex transactions, Mr. Cunningham heads the real estate division at The Fowler Law Firm, P.C., and brings to his clients' service extensive and distinguished business experience.
A native of Odessa , Texas , Mr. Cunningham graduated from Permian High School and received a Certificate of Technology from the Institute of Electronic Science at Texas A & M University . In 1991, he graduated summa cum laude from Houston Baptist University , earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and Business Studies. A short three years later, Mr. Cunningham simultaneously received a J.D. degree and an M.B.A. degree from Texas Tech University . Gifted in legal research and a mind for detail that made him stand out at the law school, he was admitted to the Legal Research Board in 1993 and was Editor of the Legal Research Board in 1994. In addition, he received multiple prestigious awards such as the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Analysis and the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Research. Mr. Cunningham also worked as a Property Researcher for the City of Lubbock 's Codes Department and served as a Law Clerk for the City of Lubbock while attending law school.
Mr. Cunningham previously practiced law as a partner with Campos & Cunningham, L.L.P., a general practice civil law firm that emphasized family law and general civil litigation. To further strengthen his ability to provide clients with the greatest amount of resources possible, and to continue a tradition of ethical service and excellent client representation, MR. Cunningham as joined with The Fowler Law Firm, P.C. Throughout his career, Mr. Cunningham has earned the respect of his peers and clients for his expertise in business and family matters, and for his continued leadership in his field. Mr. Cunningham has been a member of the Austin Christian Legal Society since 2000 and has served as its Vice President since 2004. Mr. Cunningham is also an avid international traveler, participating in short-term missions activities and teaching conversational English to non-native speakers. Mr. Cunningham also develops the creative talents that have served his clients well by playing the electric bass guitar for the contemporary praise team at Great Hills Baptist Church in Austin , Texas.
